....is tires, and the fact that the average driver doesn't invest in good drag tires. A set of slicks greatly reduces the amount of driving skill needed, due to the fact that you've only got to rev it high and drop the clutch. After that you gotta shift, but the 60ft is the most important part of the pass. That oversimplifies it a little, but slicks really are key. Mike was running ET Streets I believe, and I'm sure that he'd agree. I don't think that I'm telling you anything you don't already know, but I do think that with slicks, even average drivers can get good results, with not so many mods.
